NF Learning Analytics Experts app for iPhone and iPad

We have set this space up as a resource to enable interested parties from across the sector to network and collaborate online as we strive to increase the profile and proliferation of an evidence-based approach to decision-making and student support.

We have already taken the first steps by coming together as a community on Thursday 8th December at our National Symposium on Learning Analytics. This event attracted 74 attendees from 24 organisations and HEI’s from across the country. There was a terrific sense of opportunity and optimism throughout the event as many of us heard about each other’s work in the area for the first time. The depth and breadth of expertise that exists in Ireland was also very striking. I look forward to the potential collaborations that may arise both within and across institutions. My sincerest thanks to all who came along and made the event such a success.

The purpose of this resource is to enable members of this community to remain connected, giving an opportunity to share expertise, ask questions and share findings and interesting information and publications. I sincerely hope and expect that it is a platform that will persist and thrive beyond the lifespan of the national Forum’s LA/EDM project.’
